The off-site NZ tech leaders need
Auckland, Monday October 13th 2025
About Beacon
Theme: Sustainable Evolution
BEACON is a one-day gathering for tech leaders who want to talk about building resilient, future-ready organisations - together. Join us in Auckland on 13th of October 2025 for a morning of candid talks from some of New Zealand's best speakers and guided discussions, followed by an afternoon unconference where you set the agenda.
No fluff. No hype. No paid sponsors pitches. Just thoughtful conversation, practical tools, and peers who balance technical depth with human nuance.
Burning the candle at both ends isn't sustainable. We believe there's a smarter approach—where effort is applied thoughtfully. By working intelligently and focusing on genuine innovation, you achieve far more impact.
We want to provide space to learn from each other about what works, how change can be evolution with continuous improvement at its heart.

Who’s speaking?
A curated line-up of top New Zealand speakers known for practical, candid insights. You can find the names and details of their talks above. We are still finalising a few last speakers.
Will sessions be recorded or streamed?
The event will benefit from open communication so we will follow Chatham House Rule to encourage it. Photos and learnings can be freely shared as long as due care has been taken to not share particulars. For that reason, we are also not going to be recording any of the proceedings.
